Welcome to www.bemacpresents.org.au

This site presents an opportunity for emerging and established multicultural arts practitioners to engage with each other, particularly those in regional and rural areas, and for communities to link with each other.
Artists are also able to sell CD’s on-line.The Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) recently identified that there was no central on-line resource for the coordination and registration of multicultural artists, events, activities and programs either in Queensland or nationally. Within the scope of its programs BEMAC has a commitment to community cultural development, working with communities, providing resources and referrals for young and emerging artists, and providing performance opportunities for traditional and contemporary cultural performances. This web site has been developed by BEMAC to address the need for a calendar presenting the large number of multicultural and cultural activities held each year and to provide a listing of artists and their cultural influences for agents, schools, researchers and practitioners. This site represents an extension of our work. We encourage multicultural and multicultural inspired artists to submit profile and biographical details and we encourage all event and program coordinators to register your activities on-line. This site also provides information and news about BEMAC.
