Josh Bennett
Josh Bennett started playing when he was fifteen. He plays his own wonderful compositions on the sitar which harmoniously set and carry the mood of action or contemplation…(his) remarkable music lulls everyone.
Josh formed his musical group in 1995 with his brother. He studies Indian music for many years and particularly sitar which he studied for six years. Josh Bennett’s subliminally seductive music adds wonder to an already wondrous experience.
Josh’s current performances cover styles ranging from searing blues slide guitar, finger-picked folk and electric jazz, through to Classical Indian ragas and Celtic instrumentals, all performed with heartfelt passion and technical mastery.
