Waka Food Fest
The Waka Waka Latin-Brazilian Food Festival is the first Latin American and Brazilian celebration of gastronomy and culture organised by Colombian group and sponsored by BEMAC, Hello Australia, Arepa De Huevo and Cheeky Fruits.
The festival will take place on Saturday 9 October 2010
From 9am, til 5pm at Yungaba 120 Main Street, Kangaroo Point
Enjoy the transformation of a tranquil garden with a beautiful view of the river to a charming, bustling plaza in Latin America, where the crowds are entertained by stage performances and workshops while people taste the whole of Latin and Brazilian cuisine just in one place.
Waka Fiesta
From 8pm @ The Tempo Hotel, 388 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley
As for the never ending party, after the food extravaganza people are welcome to our dance party with the best Latin and Brazilian live bands. Dance till you drop!
If it smells like Latin-Brazilian flavours and sounds like Latin–Brazilian music, it must be a Waka Waka Latin and Brazilian food festival!!
